2015 Prof. Greidanus participated in the “Global City Eindhoven” Event at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The opening speech of the Event was given by the Mayor of Eindhoven, Rob van Gijzel. Prof. Greidanus participated in a panel discussion” Eindhoven through the Eyes of Internationals and Locals” in which he shared his views on being a global citizen. He offered internationals some practical and insightful advice: it is extremely important try to understand the local culture. “And not only from a course [a textbook perspective], but to really try to understand it by interacting with people and looking around you.”
