Prof. Greidanus was invited by Mr. Roel Fonville, Chairman Business Cluster Semiconductors, The Netherlands, to give a seminar on “Recent Developments” in China” on October 6th in Nijmegen. The Business Cluster Semiconductors includes more than 50 companies and institutions active in the semiconductor industry in the Netherlands. After an introduction on Chinese culture he addressed topics like, the one belt one road initiative, the Chinese internet industry, innovation in China and Intellectual property management in China. Information on the Institute for Intellectual Property Management at Zhejiang University was shared with the participants. Special attention was paid to economic developments in the City of Wuxi. The seminar served as background information for a business mission the Cluster is organizing for Spring 2017.
