(Prof. Can Huang gave speech)
Prof. Huang concluded with the advantages and disadvantages of the development of AI in China. He mentioned that China`s main advantages are the capacity to generate big data through its large population and also the large investment. However, China is disadvantageous in the number of experienced AI talent. USA, UK, Germany, France, and Italy have more elite researchers on AI than China.
The seminar provided an opportunity for a constructive review on the development of AI in China, with special attention to IP.
