Professor Can Huang indicated in his speech that while the digital economy is booming, the protection of intellectual property in cyberspace faces serious challenges and the number of infringement cases in cyberspace keeps growing. These problems and challenges can hardly be completely solved by the traditional intellectual property laws and policies. He suggested that government decision-makers pay attention to intellectual property governance in cyberspace as well as the development of technology and market, improve the governance system from the perspective of government, and encourage all sectors of society to actively explore and promote successful practical experiences.
